“Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.”

I’M NOT SURE how much immortality will result from this short list of Arts things I’ve done and been a part of, but you will certainly find a fair amount of knowledge.

Over my lifetime as a creator, presenter and promoter of multiple types of Arts, here’s what I’ve learned:  the Arts transform lives. Your life, my life. Everyone’s life. And, therefore, give us the power to transform the world(s) in which we live.

The Arts allow us to express our deepest inner thoughts and emotions, joys and fears, hopes and aspirations. The Arts give us tools to shape and define not just our individual selves but our often radically different collective selves.

The Arts connect. They bridge, they inspire, they convey enormous benefits to all of us struggling each day to navigate this mysterious, often preposterous life.

I believe that if more people did more Arts more often, more positive things would happen for more people everywhere in our world all the time.

You probably believe this as well.

Then, let’s get busy Artsi-fying this crazy planet.

“If you look into your heart and body and you find you are carrying this talent and you have a passion to go with it, you have to follow your heart, your instinct.”

Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin (Irish musician, composer, educator – 1950-2018)
